For the second time now, Spielwarenmesse is organising this campaign between bloggers and exhibitors. Having introduced Toy Advent Calendars last year, the content creators now had products from well-known companies available to them that were dedicated to the notion of sustainability. Participating exhibitors include not only major industry players such as Hape, Lässig, Heunec, Plan Toys and Gollnest & Kiesel (Goki) but also Turkish startup Toyi. Ten bloggers and influencers joined the campaign – one of them is the Spanish Blogger Priscilla Vela (Mamá Extraterrestre). “With my participation in this fantastic Blogger campaign from Spielwarenmesse, I have not only learned something about sustainability, but also got in touch with a but I've also started collaborating with a producer with whom I had never worked before,”, she explains.

The bloggers presented the products in various formats on social media. Janin Ziegenhagen, of Mamaleben, for example, showed a crawling mat from Lässig in a reel on Instagram. Mamiblogger jelena marija was sent a digital music box from the same company. Verenas Mamaleben was able to build towers, houses and even towns with her family, thanks to a set of building bricks from Goki. And Mamaliefde from the Netherlands received a sustainably produced plush hedgehog from Heunec. The creative upcycling kits from Toyi, which can be used to make unusual toys from self-evidently recycled products, was extensively tested by Mamá Extraterrestre and BineLovesLife. Says Gizem Kendik Önduygu, Communications and Advocacy Director at Toyi: “The toy industry is transforming itself for a more sustainable planet. With the Megatrend `Toys go Green´ the Spielwarenmesse does not just follow the trends, it acts as a trendsetter. At the same time, it acts as a bridge to bring bloggers and sustainable exhibitors together and carries out impact campaigns.”

A well-known face from last year was also in on the party – Dr Mark Leonard of Promovierter Papa, who has been working on the campaign for the last year. With his son’s assistance he presented a motorised toy car from Plan Toys, manufactured using green production methods. The Papammunity blog received another kit from the same company. A telescope and periscope from Hape were presented by and on their Instagram channels. “We at are delighted that Spielwarenmesse has been continuing to support the collaboration with bloggers and influencers throughout the year,” says blog founder Mario Förster. He continues: “The Spielwarenmesse is the most important industry even of the year and as such, it is the place to be for bloggers as well.”
