20th BAFTA Games Awards Winners
The winners of the 20th BAFTA Games Awards were announced tonight in a ceremony hosted by Phil Wang at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
The BAFTA Games Awards celebrate the very best games of the past year and the people who made them, and showcase a wide range of storytelling and creative excellence.
- Baldur’s Gate 3 won four BAFTAs – Best Game, Music, Narrative and Performer in a Supporting Role for Andrew Wincott – and the EE Players’ Choice Award, the only award voted for by the public
- Alan Wake 2 won two BAFTAs: Artistic Achievement and Audio Achievement
- Super Mario Bros. Wonder won two BAFTAs: Family and Multiplayer
- Viewfinder won two BAFTAs: British Game and New Intellectual Property
- Nadji Jeter won Performer in a Leading Role as Miles Morales in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Venba won Debut Game.
- Cyberpunk 2077 won Evolving Game
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom won Technical Achievement
- Tchia won Game Beyond Entertainment, the category for games with a social purpose
- HI-FI Rush won Animation
- Dave the Diver won Game Design
