EU presents recommendations to combat product and brand piracy

The recommendationspresented in March, which were developed as part of the "EU Toolbox against Counterfeiting" initiative, aim to promote cooperation between rights holders, service providers and law enforcement authorities on the one hand and best practices and the use of modern tools and technologies on the other. The recommendations are not binding legislation with new rules. Rather, they are only recommendations for relevant stakeholders.
