Fulminant opening for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Tim Burton's Beetlejuice Beetlejuice grossed $42 million on Saturday and is expected to reach a box office of over $110 million or more.

This means that the Warner Bros. film has achieved the second-highest start in September after New Line It's record start of $123.4m in 2017.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is also currently the second-highest start for Burton after Alice in Wonderland with $116.1m.
