German-based brand Kosmos encourages growth abroad

Kosmos enters 2024 toy year in a remarkable position. The Stuttgart-based company is holding its ground in a difficult market environment and is gaining market share., not only in Germany.

Increase in sales

In the area of ​​experimentation, the company recorded a slight increase in sales and thus continued to consolidate its market leadership. The family and adult game is developing through the market and the publisher remains number one in this area.

Encouraging growth abroad

Internationally, the company and its partners are also pleased with encouraging growth, which is higher than in the German market and is even in the double digits in the scientific toys sector.

“The games and experiment sets are not only well received in Germany, but are also in high demand internationally,” adds Matthias Kienzle, Managing Director Sales & Marketing at KOSMOS. “Together with our partners, we were able to noticeably gain market share in several countries last year and grew even faster internationally than in our home market. We were also pleased about the successful entry into the marble run segment. With Gecko Run we immediately became number two in the market.”

As part of the Nuremberg Toy Fair, the Stuttgart publishing house is now presenting its product innovations for the 2024 toy year on the topics of sustainable living, renewable energies and home farming.
