More than 5,000 participants, 200 speakers, 150 sessions, and three stages – hub.berlin 2022 on 22 and 23 June 2022 at the historical location Funkhaus Berlin was a blast. The organisers prepared a little overview of the magic which happened over the last two days.
The next hub.berlin will take place on June 28 and 29, 2023.
The topics of the hour were on the agenda: the Metaverse, sustainability, cybersecurity and defense, new digital business models, digital sovereignty, and new space.
From the opening Keynote of Herbert Diess (CEO, Volkswagen AG) to the closing Keynote of Ricarda Lang (co-leader of Germany’s Green Party), discussions have inspired and captivated the audience. Personalities such as Florian Toncar, Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Finance, and Apple VP Lisa Jackson enriched the programme too. One highlight this year was undoubtedly the presence of the Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister & Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, who joined via live video.
Premium brands presented a showcase of tomorrow’s reality. Cutting-edge innovations were on display while playful educational content helped to better understand what awaits us in the near future.
The participants had the chance to take a look at the job section, expand their network within the tech industry and connect with the most relevant people to them.
During a two-day interactive exhibition, outstanding international artists such as Byrke Lou and Hrafnkell Sigurðsson invited visitors to dive into new perceptions of art. Additionally, MONOM offered visitors a sensory journey with the 4DSOUND technology to explore a new kind of soundscapes.
