Deutsche Bahn strike: Travel to the Spielwarenmesse

The Deutsche Bahn (DB) train drivers' union has announced a strike from Wednesday, January 24 up to and including Monday, January 29 (6 p.m.), which may also affect travel to the Spielwarenmesse.

The duration of the Spielwarenmesse from Tuesday, January 30, to Saturday, February 3, is currently not affected. Visitors arriving before then are advised to look for alternatives in good time and to use other means of transport such as buses, hire cars and cabs or to use their own car.

As a free service, Spielwarenmesse offers buses from the major airports in Munich and Frankfurt/Main to take visitors to the exhibition grounds in Nuremberg:
