Laura García is the new head of licensing at MGA Entertainment Iberia

Laura García Ortega, who studied law at the Complutense University of Madrid, has worked in the audiovisual and licensing industry for more than 15 years. She started her career in the entertainment industry in 2006 when she joined the RTVE content sales team. Since 2010, she was commercial director at Nottingham Forest, an agency where she developed the licensing plans for brands such as Playmobil, Power Rangers or Super Wings, achieving a solid positioning of these brands in the Spanish and Portuguese markets.

In the last two years, she has independently managed brands such as Pantone, Super Wings or Cleo & Cuquin and led the content buying for the thematic channels of the company Alchimie in Spain. In her new role, Laura García will take charge of MGAE brands in the Iberian Peninsula in coordination with the EMEA and APAC licensing team, led by Egita Di Filippo.
