Mattel is working on "Bob the Builder" for the big screen
Following the huge success of "Barbie", toy manufacturer Mattel is working on its latest toy-inspired film project: "Bob the Builder".
In the animated film, Anthony Ramos takes on the voice of Roberto, "Bob", who travels to Puerto Rico for a big construction job. There, he takes care of various problems on the island and learns the true meaning of construction while experiencing the Caribbean-Latin culture.
Mattel has commissioned Felipe Vargas, a Colombian-American author, to develop the story in collaboration with Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico from the animation studio ShadowMachine.
Jennifer Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions will produce the film.
