Mattel: launch dates & trailers for Hot Wheels Let’s Race Season 3 and Barbie & Teresa: Recipe for Friendship
Mattel announced the premiere dates for two animated pieces of content: Hot Wheels Let’s Race Season 3 on Monday, March 3 and a brand-new Barbie special, Barbie & Teresa: Recipe for Friendship on Thursday, March 6. Trailers and assets for both titles were also revealed.

Hot Wheels Let’s Race returns for Season 3 with five new 22-minute episodes, premiering globally on Netflix Monday, March 3. The hit animated series has dominated Netflix charts, with Season 1 spending four weeks in the Global Top 10 TV (English), reaching the Top 10 in 69 countries, and amassing over 22 million views for a total of 89.3 million hours watched (January-June 2024). Season 2 continued the momentum, landing in the Global Top 10 in 27 countries.
The Hot Wheels die-cast car is the #1 selling toy in the world,* and is sold in more than 150 countries. Over 130 new Hot Wheels car designs are introduced annually, with 25,000 variations in existence today. Beyond the television series, the franchise offers fans a wide range of products and experiences, including its iconic toy vehicles and racing sets, digital experiences and games like Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem, live events like the popular Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live tour, storybooks and activity books from Mattel Press, consumer products, apparel and more. A live-action feature film from Mattel Films, produced in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures and J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot, is also in development.
