MeteoHeroes broadcast growth continues

In anticipation of the Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF), Asia's leading market for entertainment content, Mondo TV Group has announced the launch of the award-winning children's animation series MeteoHeroes in several markets in Asia, Africa and Europe.

MeteoHeroes is committed to the topics of climate and the environment. It is now in its fourth year and is represented in over 180 countries and 22 languages.

Thailand

The first two seasons of the environmental series have been sold to one of Thailand's leading pay-TV broadcasters, Cineplex of Thailand. The series will be broadcast on True branded channels and platforms, both on exclusive pay TV and non-exclusive free TV.

South Korea and China

In addition, both series will be distributed to Jei Broadcasting Corporation (Jei TV) in South Korea, which has acquired both exclusive pay TV rights and non-exclusive SVOD rights. The second season will also be broadcast in China via the distributor SPE HK, which holds the rights for the first and second seasons.

Brunei, Mauritius and Hungary

The rights for the first season are held by distributor Mi Media International for free-to-air television in Brunei, by public broadcaster MBC in Mauritius and by commercial broadcaster RTL Klub in Hungary.

Broadcasts are scheduled for the end of 2023 and during 2024.

USA

MeteoHeroes can also be seen on PBS in the USA. There, the program is a partner in the world's most comprehensive climate education initiative, which is supported by PBS stations across America: Kids First!

To reach around 30,000 schools and 15 million children aged between four and 10, a number of platforms and channels have been launched, including a podcast and video games.
