Natural History Museum plans first touring show
‘Dinosaurs Live!’ will be a family-friendly production which will explore the planet’s evolutionary history, and will include animatronic Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Diplodocus and the Velociraptor.

Mark Thompson, Director of Mark Thompson Productions, said the show will “introduce audiences to the wonderful work that has led to the Natural History Museum being one of the UK’s most prized assets.
“This show will be aimed at all the family and, with the plans around the animatronic dinosaurs already being developed, promises to ensure that all that attend will have a roar-some, fun-filled time!”
Family show writer and director, Miranda Larson, who is currently developing Tom Fletcher’s The Creakers Musical at the Southbank Centre, has been brought on to lead the creative team for the show.
‘Dinosaurs Live!’ begins its UK run from in February 2025 and will visit 60 venues across the country.
