Nintendo "game developer" experiences for KidZania Japan
In collaboration with Nintendo, two KidZania locations in Japan are getting a new job opportunity for kids to try out. KidZania is an indoor city where children can try out different jobs in ultra-realistic role-playing games, earn money and get a taste of adult life.
Wide range of career experiences
The range of career experiences varies across the 26 KidZania locations worldwide, but always offers a broad spectrum ranging from doctor to TV presenter. Now, two of the Japanese KidZania locations (Tokyo and Koshien) have teamed up with Nintendo to offer a "game developer" experience for their young visitors. The children now have the opportunity to develop their own software in the Game Builder Garage and present their creations to the other children present. At the end of the experience, the children can take home an empty Switch game case with the name of their Game Builder Garage game.
