You will come across the terms Latina, Latino and their gender-neutral versions Latine and Latinx. You may also see people referring to themselves as Hispanic, Chicano, Tejano, Taino, Isleños, Boricua, Afro-Latino, in addition to the many other terms used for people who have families and ancestry in the 22 nations and territories that make up Latin America.
In these programs and documentaries, a variety of voices and stories can be heard and seen.
