People of Play: Registration for Inventor Pitch & Innovation Conference is open
Ready to learn, pitch and network with some of the best-known companies in the toy and games industry from around the world? Registration for the People of Play's (POP) Inventor Pitch & Innovation Conference is open. During POP week in Rosemont, Illinois, over 100 executives are expected to attend looking for ideas and innovation.
POP announces Sharon Price John as the keynote speaker. John is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Toy Association and has been CEO of Build-A-Bear Workshop since 2013, where she led the restructuring and rebuilding of the multi-million dollar company. Sharon Price John is also a member of the Jack in the Box Board of Directors and Chair of the Toy Association Board of Directors.
This year's conferences, sponsored by Mattel and other sponsors to be announced, will be held November 7-9 at the Embassy Suites in Rosemont.
Dates and tickets
Conference tickets also include tickets to the Toy & Game Innovation Awards (TAGIEs) on November 8th at 6pm. This gala will take place at Joe's LIVE and will recognize outstanding achievements from minds in the toy and game industry.
Other POP Week events include the kick-off event on Nov. 6, TAGIEs on Nov. 8, the Young Inventor Challenge and PlayCHIC on Nov. 9, and the Chicago Toy & Game Fair on Nov. 9 and 10.
