Pluta restructuring expert Beck appointed provisional insolvency administrator for Amscan Europe

Amscan Europe GmbH has filed for insolvency. The Esslingen Local Court yesterday ordered provisional insolvency administration over the company's assets and appointed Steffen Beck from Pluta Rechtsanwals GmbH as provisional insolvency administrator. The specialist lawyer is already on site at the company and is holding talks with the management. He is supported by lawyer Jonas Scheble, among others.

Business operations will continue. Employees' salaries are secured by the insolvency substitute benefits.

Amscan Europe employs around 200 people in Germany and most recently had a turnover of around 80 million euros. Kirchheim unter Teck is home to the headquarters and a 300 square meter showroom.
