Pokémon Horizons launches on BBC
Good news for British Pokémon fans: the much-anticipated series "Pokémon Horizons" will be broadcast on the BBC from December, according to The Pokémon Company International. The story of "Pokémon Horizons The Series" is the first new Pokémon animated series in more than 25 years, following the departure of Ash and Pikachu. The new series follows the two main characters Liko and Roy on their action-packed adventures.
On their adventures, they travel the world and meet a variety of characters.
The series will be available on BBC iPlayer and CBBC and will initially launch with the first six episodes of the new series, which premiered in Japan earlier this year.
Taito Okiura, Vice President of marketing for The International Pokémon Company International states that “Pokémon Horizons: The Series is set to be a thrilling journey that explores new wonders and makes fascinating discoveries about the Pokémon world.”
