Production is back on track: Film highlights

After the end of the strike, production and planning are back in full swing. For fans of entertainment, there are several reasons to look forward to.

Zelda live-action film

According to Variety, Nintendo has announced a new Legend of Zelda live-action film. The production, direction and screenplay will be handled by established names in the business. Wes Ball, the director of Maze Runner and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Derek Connolly, the author of Jurassic World and producer Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator and game developer who was also involved in the production of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, are to be part of the production.

Ghosbusters

Sony Pictures Entertainment has also released a major project. There has already been a teaser trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. This film is a sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife with Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard and many more.

Avatar

Netflix also released an official teaser. Avatar: The Last Airbender has been released. The release is scheduled for February 22, 2024.

Inside Out 2

The new Pixar animated film Inside Out 2 is due to be released in cinemas on June 14, 2024.  The film is the sequel to Inside Out, which was released in 2015. A first trailer has already been released.
