Spin Master details season three launches for Bakugan and Mighty Express on Netflix

Spin Master is laying new tracks for two of its biggest franchises, with season three launches for both its anime series Bakugan and its pre-school hit Mighty Express on the streaming platform Netflix.

The latest installment from the Bakugan series, Bakugan: Geogan Rising includes an innovative new toy line, card game, mobile app, video game, and licensing programme. The first half of season three is set to debut on Netflix from April 15th and witnesses the introduction of the ancient species Geogan.

Inspired by the on screen action, fans can answer the call to brawl with Spin Master’s integrated toy line as they collect and battle mysterious Geogan characters in new forms, each with their own pop-open transformation and extra battling power.

Spin Master continues to expand Bakugan’s audience base by leveraging the power of the platforms where kids are spending time. Complementing the now three seasons available on Netflix, select full episodes are available on the Bakugan YouTube Channel.

In addition to Spin Master’s toy line, the company continues to roll out it’s Bakugan licensing  program that leverages the key attributes of the brand - battling, gaming, and collectability with a style guide based on anime-styled art.

Consumer product partners includes Isaac Morris Ltd. (children’s apparel), Ripple Junction (unisex adult and junior apparel), Funko (stylised vinyls and accessories), Franco Manufacturing Corp. (home goods) and Exclusive Candy and Novelty Distribution (confectionary), Scholastic (publishing) as well as international licenses Hachette  (publishing, France) and Bensons Trading (Showbags, Australia and New Zealand) to name a few.

Meanwhile, the CG animated pre-school series Mighty Express continues to pick up steam as it too debuts its third season on Netflix this week.

The series takes a contemporary approach to the timeless genre of trains. Mighty Express debuted as a top ten ranked children’s series for each Netflix drop since launch in September 2020.

Spin Master Entertainment continues to lay new tracks for the franchise, expanding its reach with a  complementary broadcast and streaming partnership with CBC Kids in Canada, having made its Canadian  television premiere earlier this month. New episodes will then be available each weekday morning for free on the CBC Gem streaming service.

Canadian families will also be the first to get their hands on the highly anticipated toy line later this year, with other markets to follow.

Licensing partnerships are further enriching the franchise, with deals already inked in the US with Penguin Random House leading its publishing.

Mighty Express marks Spin Master Entertainment’s first series launching straight to a streaming platform and the franchise is wholly-owned by Spin Master.
