Worldwide online voting: Playmobil named "Brand of the Year“  

Playmobil received a prestigious award at the 17th edition of the World Branding Awards in London. The toy brand was honored with the "Brand of the Year" award. This international prize is awarded for the successes and achievements of the best brands in the world. 

In addition to Playmobil, MediaMarkt and Mercedes Benz are among the winners from Germany. The award is based on a worldwide online vote in which over 150,000 consumers took part this year. Over 1,500 brands from more than 40 countries were nominated as part of the World Branding Awards 2023 - 2024 - less than 200 of them were chosen as winners.

The jury's statement

The jury recognized the achievements of the award winners for their "continuous efforts, which are essential for building outstanding brands". It continued: "To remain relevant as a brand, brands need to build an image that resonates and endures." It is also important that all generations continue to find the brand interesting, emphasized Richard Rowles, Chairman of the World Branding Forum.

Playmobil board member Bahri Kurter emphasized the importance of this. For him and the entire team, the award is an incentive to continue developing the brand and to continue surprising customers young and old with new products and innovative play ideas.
