This week, Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) opened a new office in Mexico City
The move plants yet another flag of opportunity for WarnerMedia and its partners to develop new licensing programs to reach fans throughout the country. WBCP Mexico is developing retail entertainment experiences and promotions built around numerous films both current and upcoming, including Space Jam: A New Legacy, Fantastic Beasts 3, and DC’s The Suicide Squad, The Batman, The Flash, and more, and will be staffed with a team of experts focusing on DC, Wizarding World, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, HBO, Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim.
With the opening of the new office, Javier Garza has been tapped to lead as head of WBCP Mexico. He founded his own agency, The Brand Licensing Entertainment Co. (BLEC), in 2015 following more than 14 years with WBCP.
Upcoming promotions set to be supported by WBCP Mexico include the return of DC Fandome, Wonder Woman’s 80th Anniversary, Batman Day, and the Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts celebration.
