WowWee, Moonbug Entertainment strike deal for ARPO Robot Babysitter toys

The Amazon Kids+ series ARPO Robot Babysitter doesn’t even premiere until this fall, but its cast of characters is already headed for the toy department.

WowWee inked a deal with Moonbug Entertainment to serve as the master toy licensee for the series. Under the new deal, ARPO Robot Babysitter feature plush toys will be available at Amazon for families in the U.S. in time for the holiday season. Next year, additional retailers around the world will carry the extended ARPO line, which is set to include robotics, STEM, early learning toys, and figures.

ARPO is an acronym for Army Prototype Omega, and WowWee says it has “innovative tech applications planned” for its ARPO Robot Babysitter line.

The series is designed for kids ages 3-7 and uses a non-dialogue format to reach kids in all languages.
