‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ expands presence in Latin and South America
Konami Cross Media NY, Inc. has announced the signing of representation agreements with two well-known licensing companies:
Angelotti Licensing and Mon Licensing. The goal of this strategic partnership is to expand the reach and presence of the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand in the Latin and South American markets.
Leveraging expertise in anime licensing
Both Angelotti Licensing and Mon Licensing have decades of experience in anime licensing, merchandising and advertising strategies.
Angelotti Licensing has been honored with the Best Licensing Agent and Best Licensed Company awards. The company will drive the license development for Yu-Gi-Oh! in Brazil.
Mon Licensing, a major player in the licensing market for 30 years, will have a significant presence in Panama, Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia, specializing in the development of promotional products and the creation of exclusive product lines for department stores. Its role as sub-agent for Latin America strategically positions it to promote the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand in various Latin American markets.
First initiatives
The start of their initiatives includes a collaboration with Ropa Viva, an established textile company based in Mexico. The company is launching a clothing line for Yu-Gi-Oh! that has already enjoyed considerable success with its first collection.
