Going live again at last: Spielwarenmesse 2023 turns into a grand reunion with numerous highlights

For three years the industry has been waiting for this moment: and when the gates to the Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg are opened again at last from 1 to 5 February, participants will get to experience the ‘Spirit of Play’ at first hand. They are flocking to the exhibition centre to discover new products and trends, to reinforce their contacts and to gain valuable knowledge for their day-to-day business.

Outstanding new products nominated for Spielwarenmesse ToyAward

The Spielwarenmesse is the leading event and most important meeting point for the sector. The event, taking place in the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from 1 to 5 February, is highly significant for the presentation of innovative new products. To assist with the trade’s search for especially creative ideas, each year the Spielwarenmesse presents the ToyAward. This award highlights outstanding innovations with strong potential for success.

The starting signal for Spielwarenmesse 2023 – PressPreview with much new content

On 31 January the PressPreview marks the start of the Spielwarenmesse in the traditional way. In this concentrated innovations show, well-known exhibitors, brands and startups present their product ideas to representatives of the national and international media with plenty of action, in the NCC Ost at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. For the first time, this kick-off event includes presentation of the ToyAward. It is rounded off by the ToyCocktail competition and a collective lunch.

National pavilions at the Spielwarenmesse: latest recruit Ukraine flies the flag

They provide exhibitors with a good entry point to the market and retailers with a rapid overview: they are the International Pavilions at the Spielwarenmesse. A total of 15 countries will be presenting in different pavilions from 1 to 5 February at the Nuremberg exhibition centre. New recruits – and hence represented for the first time – are France, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

New functions for Spielwarenmesse Digital

Spielwarenmesse Digital starts up tomorrow, 10 January, with many different functions, giving the trade even more efficient ways of preparing for the fair and following up on it. The business platform, which supplements the sector’s leading event taking place from 1 to 5 February in Nuremberg, is available now and all year round at digital.spielwarenmesse.de. Interested users can register here free of charge. A ticket for the Spielwarenmesse is not required for registration.

Spielwarenmesse 2023: New RedNight networking party and valuable services for the trade

For the trade, the Spielwarenmesse is a firm appointment in the calendar. From 1 to 5 February 2023, the whole international industry will come together again at last at the Nuremberg exhibition centre. Exhibitors from a total of 66 countries will be presenting their innovative business ideas and creative product innovations to the specialist trade. To help organise the perfect visit to the fair, a number of services are available to buyers. And what’s more, the organising team for the world’s leading fair will be on hand with a new networking party.
