Spielwarenmesse opens the model hall to consumers

Between 1 and 5 February 2023, the Spielwarenmesse will set the direction for the forthcoming financial year. Together with the exhibitors taking part, the organiser Spielwarenmesse eG has decided to open the product group Model Railways and Model Construction visiting to consumers.

Spielwarenmesse brings 2023 trends to life

In the retail trade, toy trends play an important part in shaping the product range and can affect the success of the business. In such matters, the Spielwarenmesse relies on the expertise of its TrendCommittee to identify relevant developments at an early stage. The team is pulling together its findings and meeting to identify the Spielwarenmesse trends that will be announced around mid-October 2022.

Set out to conquer international markets at the Spielwarenmesse

By tradition, the international toy industry comes together at the start of the year for the Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg. After a two-year break imposed by the pandemic, the world’s leading toy fair will be opening its doors again at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from 1 to 5 February 2023. For the industry as well as the organisers, more attention than ever will be paid to the physical fair with its live events. The associated new online platform, Spielwarenmesse Digital, will continue to provide useful additional services. For companies participating for the first time, interesting and relevant packages are available.

A win for the premiere of Spielwarenmesse Digital: An impressive multifunctional platform for the leading industry event

The event week on Spielwarenmesse Digital proved highly popular within the industry. Spanning the original dates for the fair from 2 to 6 February, the platform provided a great opportunity for exhibitors and trade visitors to discover the latest trends, refresh their expertise in toys and exchange opinions and information. Over the five days, organiser Spielwarenmesse eG recorded 10,813 visitors from 82 different countries. The highly varied programme of presentations was a success, and was accessed 22,000 times.
